Credit transfer makes Jiangsu students study

in Russia easier

The first “Russian and Russian Culture Center” was inaugurated in Jiangsu Second Normal University on Jan 12, building a bridge for Jiangsu students to study in Russia.

Four universities in Jiangsu, namely Nanjing University, Suzhou University, Nanjing Normal University and Jiangsu Normal University, offer Russian courses. The center will offer Russian and Russian culture courses, and encourage exchange students to study in Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Jiangsu Second Normal University and Lomonosov Moscow State University co-founded “Chinese and China Study Center” in 2015, attracting more than 100 Russian students to learn Chinese. 20-plus of them made a special trip to Jiangsu Second Normal University in summer holiday.

“We will develop lots of programs except short-term language programs, in which students can earn a bachelor's degree and a master's degree and get a scholarship. China and Russia have reached mutual recognition of university degrees,” said Hera Menschikov, president of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
